[/vc_column_text][/stack_hero][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_section][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The NHBP Environmental Department oversees and manages the Community Garden on the Pine Creek Indian Reservation. The Community Garden plants and harvests a variety of fruits and vegetables for Tribal Members to pick up during the summer months.

The Community Garden heavily relies on Job Bank staff to maintain the high quality produce necessary for production. This program begins as the garlic season ends in late April and runs through the end of September. Along with the variety of food produced, Community Garden staff is proactive in sustainability efforts, and uses traditional indigenous techniques to grow delicious and bountiful harvests.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row”][vc_column][stack_boxed_content background=”bg–secondary”][vc_column_text]
