The NHBP Government Records Department holds the responsibility of preserving and securing official Tribal government records and providing access to those public records for all NHBP Tribal Members.

The Government Records Department utilizes a modern record management system, enrollment process and other services to meet the needs of the Tribal government and NHBP Tribal Members. The Government Records Department manages all requests for public government records, distribution of Tribal Identification cards, as well as the enrollment process including eligibility, application and verification. The department also oversees other services, including serving as an official notary for NHBP Tribal Members.
