Public Works

The Pine Creek Indian Reservation is primarily cared for by the NHBP Department of Public Works, which utilizes skilled tradesman, janitors and groundskeepers to take care of its properties.

The Department of Public Works also maintains NHBP facilities and the transportation fleet for NHBP Tribal Members and employees, as well as overseeing the cleaning and landscaping of the buildings and grounds.

With a focus on sustaining the resources provided and built, the Department of Public Works also supports numerous departmental events, programs and activities. Whether this be via set up and tear-down, cleaning before and after, or serving during events, the Department of Public Works staff works diligently to support other departments, Tribal Members and guests.

The Department of Public Works is also required to report details about where the water comes from on the Pine Creek Indian Reservation, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies. To view the 2020 report, click here.
