Health & Human Services

The Dental team consisting of a Dentist, Hygienist, Dental Assistant and Dental Office Assistant provide dental services such as but not limited to:
  • Cleanings, scaling and root planning

  • Gum disease care
  • Dentures and partials

Complex cases may be referred to outside specialists.

There are no out-of-pocket fees for Direct Care Services provided at the Health Facility for eligible American Indians and Alaskan Natives. However, any available insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and/or grant funds will be billed for services. Some services use an outside laboratory which are not Direct Care Services and will require fees to be paid before services are rendered for all patients. For non-Native patients, all fees out of pocket associated with the services apply and are due at the time of service.

This is open to all federally recognized Tribal Members and descendants, adopted, foster, step and legal ward children of a federally recognized Tribal Member, mothers of unborn American Indian/Alaskan Native children, spouses of all federally recognized Tribal Members and NHBP employees. Additionally, NHBP HHSD is open to residents of Athens, East Leroy, Union City, and Fulton.
